Ascarite II® is a popular carbon dioxide absorbent used in sampling circuits.
Our Ascarite II® is 8-20 mesh.
Ascarite II® will absorb up to 40% of its weight in C02.
Gas entering the absorption area should be relatively moisture free. A drying agent, such as Drierite should be placed at the exit end of the absorption bed to take up water produced as a by-product of the absorption process.
Federal regulations require extra paperwork and caution to transport hazardous materials. A small handling fee charged by the shipping companies will be added to your shopping cart.
