The SMD-8TR Inspection System features
the unique EMZ-8TR trinocular microscope
head, as well as the SMD Oblique Viewing
Attachment, the UL Stand, the Dual Gooseneck
Fiber Optic Illuminator, and the large Sliding
Platform Stage described
in the standard system.
The EMZ-8TR microscope head can direct
light simultaneously to both eyetubes and
the vertical camera tube. No eyetube goes
dark during camera operation. Cameras can be mated to the SMD-8TR system
for projecting to a TV-style
monitor or to a PC-computer
for viewing and data acquistion. In
both cases, an additional C-mount adapter
needs to be purchased to mate the EMZ-5TR
to the camera.
