Model 4100 Isolated High Power Programmable Stimulator is our most powerful, most flexible, and most convenient single-channel stimulator that was designed for a wide variety of applications, including field stimulation. The Model 4100 is designed to be your lab’s workhorse stimulator, delivering maximum performance at a fair price.

The Model 4100 stimulator is highly flexible, being capable of delivering stimulus trains comprised of monophasic, biphasic, and/or ramped waveforms. In addition, the new stimulator can deliver traditional protocols such as LTP/LTD stimulation studies, Paired Pulses protocols, and Stepped Pulses.

Finally, do you have a unique, custom, or biologically generated signal that you want isolated, scaled, and turned into constant current? If so, you can use the external signal-in circuitry built into the Model 4100 to convert your signal to an isolated stimulation current.

Convenience and ease of use are paramount in the design of the Model 4100 stimulator. All stimulator functions can be controlled by the front panel controls, or by a wide variety of free computer programs, including Windows, OSx, iOS, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and Android.

When it comes to performance, the Model 4100 will be a leader in the field. It can provide pulse durations between 1 microsecond and 25 hours long. The Model 4100 has built-in isolation and is line-powered, eliminating the need to replace batteries in the middle of an experiment. More powerful than the 2100, the Model 4100 Isolated High Power Programmable Stimulator can product ± 200 V pulses at 100 mA.

Our mutli-platform software controls all Model 4100 functions, and takes full advantage of today’s operating systems to make implementing your research protocols easy and straightforward.

Common "pinch and spread" touchscreen gestures can be used to change waveform timing and amplitudes; Dragging waveform icons can quickly rearrange the stimulus pattern delivered during a train.

Error messages as well as status messages are clearly displayed.

Multiple instrument programs can be stored on your computer to enable users with different protocols to preserve their settings and quickly import previously used values.
